Great perspective! The higher elevation of Big Quarry Lake, with the forested point (in the middle) where home base is. Way out in the background is the Malaspina Strait and Texada Island.

In early/mid October, you can hear the honking cries of the migrating Canada Geese overhead. They take turns being the lead bird of the evolving V-shaped formations. These waves can continue for up to 3 days or more.
