Featuring: 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and 2 buildings with a bridge that links them both. Also, a 235-foot funicular elevator, large patio wharf, and a 62-foot floating dock. There are miles of hiking trails, 2 warm water lakes, endless shorelines with smaller bays, and awesome views!
Accommodations are suited for a group of 8 friends, 3 to 4 couples, or a mature family. No kids from 3 to 12, but there can be exceptions. Ten people may be permitted but with an up-charge. Bring your pets. This is dog heaven! We are also wheelchair & senior friendly.

Tree House is the recently renovated and expanded original cabin. It is nestled into the edge of a forest and has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and lots of living space on all 3 levels with dimmer light switches throughout.
The Ground Level has two bedrooms, a combined bathroom/laundry room, workshop and lounge area. The Corner Suite Bedroom is 120 sq. ft. with a large window, queen bed on an elevated floor, pine armoire, and two bedside tables.
The Bunkie Special Bedroom is also 120 sq. ft. with a large window, a queen bed, and two single bunk beds. The lounge has a large armoire, couch, desk and chair, with a large window and swing door that opens onto a small deck with 2 sets of stairs leading to the main level and also to the forest floor.
The workshop/storage area is where there's a Rinnai on-demand hot water heater, water pump and pressure tanks. It has two swing barn doors to the ground outside. The low ceiling bathroom has a large LG Direct Drive clothes washer and Maytag propane dryer, laundry tub, vanity sink and a toilet… small space, but big convenience. The ground level is the coolest place during the heat of summer.
The Main Level has a newly renovated ‘great room’ with modern kitchen, a 36” fridge with French doors and freezer; a 30” 5 burner propane stove and large oven; dishwasher; and a 30” double stainless steel sink with plenty of kitchen cabinets. Four people can comfortably maneuver about with ample counter space and an elevated cedar ‘live edge’ bar top with three bar stools.
The great room has a vaulted ceiling (up to 16’ at its peak), with 3 skylights and forest views in all 4 directions. The dining area has a wooden table capable of sitting 8 people in padded leather like chairs. The lounge area has an elevated propane fireplace with fan and remote control. There's a large couch, coffee table, and comfy reading chairs. The storage/pantry room is handy for beverages, vegetable, fruit & dry food storage. As of 2021, we’ve installed two ceiling fans in the living room and upper bedroom.
The State Room Bedroom is apartment sized with two single beds, a clothes closet and two forest view windows and shared bedside table. The main bathroom has a forest view window with shower/tub, and a 30” vanity sink and toilet. There is vinyl floor planking on all 3 levels.
The main area has a swing kitchen door and a glass sliding door, with both opening onto ample deck space. The slider leads directly to the deck-styled wooden bridge that links you to the funicular carriage landing in the elevator building. There’s also an elevated look-out corner deck with two large trees coming through it. It's a cozy lookout spot and chill area with hammock. We make room for trees, hence the moniker – Tree House.
The Upper Level is the Command Bridge Bedroom that's approx. 175 sq. feet. It has a king bed, side tables with lamps and a small armoire. For the studious worker, there is a desk table with chair facing out two windows onto the forest below. There are forest views from all three outside walls and an open pony wall to the great room below. Also, a generous sized 3-piece ensuite bathroom with shower stall, toilet, and 40” vanity sink. You won't feel lonely with Ernie, our taxidermic bald eagle overlooking the whole bedroom.
The Elevator Building is an award-worthy architectural achievement. It was designed and built by Morgan Gatto, who also designed and built West Vancouver's Eagle Harbour Yacht Club.
The elevator building has 3 stories.
The Ground Level is a mechanical room that houses the complete electrical system, batteries and equipment for our solar power. This is where the propane line enters (from below), before being distributed to the Tree House building. There's a mezzanine of sorts used for storage.
The Main Level is mostly open with 8" x 8" pressure treated fir posts.This area is covered for the funicular carriage landing and its safety gates. The barbeque is situated under an overhang with a handy table, chairs and sun umbrella within easy reach. There are two more tables for an extended outdoor dining experience capable of sitting upwards of ten people. New in 2021 we added a wicker outdoor patio set including a comfy three-seater couch, two matching large reading chairs and coffee table.
The Third Level is accessed by covered outdoor stairs that lead to the prominent and spacious 15’ x 18’ penthouse Perch Studio with fir plank flooring, queen Murphy bed, oak armoire, custom built office desk with swivel chair, lounge chairs and a two-piece ensuite bathroom with granite counter-top, vanity sink with drawers, and a macerator toilet. The ceiling has exposed fir beams on both sides with 24’ fir rafters spanning the entire ceiling along with knotted tongue and groove pine. All windows are custom made with grade ‘A’ fir frame casings.
In one corner there’s a stand-alone propane fireplace with a remote. There are two custom-built sliding glass door entrances. The three-piece front glass doors slide open onto an observation deck with glass railings. This deck area has four outdoor chairs and two side tables for relaxing and observing the entire bay and all the activities. There’s also an amplifier/receiver with a remote and two high mounted wall speakers. The other sliding glass door opens onto the four-foot wide 360-degree wrap-around covered walkway where you can look down onto the outdoor dining area and bridge to Tree House.

Wharf and Deep Sea Moorage Dock

Two connected concrete surfaced floats totalling 62 feet (on the outside) with plenty of boat cleats and a fish cleaning table with running fresh water. On the inside, there’s room for a 24 foot boat.

A 52 foot welded aluminum ramp with railings and aprons at both ends for easy and safe dolly loading

Very large concrete surfaced wharf built into the cliff side. Mostly used as a patio for lounging just above the water.
